Work on Your “Serve” this Summer!

What a great time to reconnect with in-person worship!  And a great way to reconnect is through service.  We are looking for people to serve as Ushers, Lectors, Communion Servers, Communion Set Up, and Musicians.  We welcome the gifts of ALL AGES.  To learn more, visit https://www.wadenaimmanuel.org/serviceopportunities Please contact the church office (631-2738, church@wadenaimmanuel.org) to offer your gifts of service.

Our Worship Schedule Each Sunday (Summer, too!):

  • 8:30am – worship in person, or online

  • 9:30am – worship on KWAD (920AM or 101.7FM)

  • 10am – worship in person

Masks and Distancing

Though mask wearing is always welcome at Immanuel, especially by those who are not vaccinated, we have now removed all our mask and distancing procedures.  We continue to monitor positivity rates in our county and will respond appropriately.  In the meantime, we encourage anyone who is eligible to get vaccinated for COVID-19 to do so.

We’re Retooling our Prayer List
In an effort to keep a more timely and accessible prayer list, we’re making some changes.  Starting June 1, we will send our prayer list in this weekly email and will post the prayer list on our website.  We’re also changing our prayer list so that a prayer request will be added to our Sunday prayers for 4 weeks, unless a request to remove comes sooner.  Of course, you or your loved one can continue to be on our prayer list as long as you would like, but you would need to “renew” that request every four weeks.  Military prayers will remain on the list for six months, unless a request to remove comes sooner.  Email (church@wadenaimmanuel.org) or call (631-2738) the church office with prayer requests.  Or fill out this form: https://www.wadenaimmanuel.org/prayerrequest

Fair Trade Coffee is Available

Selling coffee on Sunday mornings isn't a great idea right now, but your favorite fair trade items are still available during the week. We've set up a display in the kitchen with prices marked. Stop by the church building during the week and pick up anything you'd like. Fair trade coffee, tea, and chocolate make great Christmas gifts too! Make checks payable to Immanuel Church Women" and put "Fair Trade" in the memo line. You can drop off checks in the church office. Thanks for helping support small scale farmers around the globe!

Thank You for Your Continued Generosity

We are so overwhelmed at the generosity of all of you at this critical time for our ministry.  Your financial gifts are ensuring that ministry continues at Immanuel even during this pandemic.  Gifts can be dropped off at the church, mailed to PO Box 69.  Or visit www.wadenaimmanuel.org/giving-1 to explore e-giving.
